Volunteers will be on the Northeast corner of James and Cannon Streets during tonight’s Art Crawl, from 7-10 pm, collecting non-perishable food items for the Welcome Inn Community Centre Food Bank. Look for the blue canopy tent.
If you plan to attend tonight, please remember to bring an item for donation on your way out- summertime is generally when foodbanks face the worst shortages.
Non-perishable food items, baby formula, toilet paper, razors, tampons and pads (esp. pads), infant and toddler food, and pet food are in high demand and definitely appreciated.
